The Old Alms Cottages in Rilton Castle village. Divided into three small homes, they are owned and managed by the Rilton Castle Housing Association, which also owns the Maltings Old People's development in Dorchester. They feature in several of the books as their occupants become entangled with the murderous goings-on in the area.
