Well, the Lambda Award guys posted a mail out to all the finalists giving us some information, including the email addresses of all the other finalists. You could 'reply to all' and say 'Hi' to the other writers. Some of the gay men started writing notes saying how much they were enjoying the whole process of being a finalist; the lesbians started complaining about all the 'junk' mail they were getting. I guess they never like having anything in their boxes…..
