A quick shout out to Amazon and Kindle for making publication possible. The whole system they have created, including createspace, is so simple and welcoming to new writers and is so very different from the traditional route to publication. I think, of all the innovations of the last few years, Kindle's self-publication system will be remembered long after many other things have gone the way of the slinky and the Rubic's cube!
