This translates to 'Love is stronger than homophobia'. It is being held by a gay teenager, arrested in Russia for protesting against the anti-gay 'propaganda' laws. Other teenagers are being attacked, set up, bully and brutalized without their attackers being brought to justice. It is open season on gay people there. If ever there was a time for good gay role models, it is now. But it will take more than a few books with some great gay characters to turn Putin around.
