Paywalls v free access....

Here is a great picture of Boris Johnsson making a cock of himself again in London. It was from today's Guardian. When I was on it I filled in one of those user surveys they do from time to time asking me about their website. I said it was great. The one question they didn't ask was 'Would I pay if I had to?
Many newspaper sites now have paywalls. I can understand this but the free access sites like the Guardian make it very cheap and easy for me to keep up to date with what's going on in Britain from Sweden, often more quickly than locals. I would hate to lose that free access but yes, I would pay for the Guardian if I had to. But not the Mail!
