Finn and Patrick

..the twins. Finn and Patrick Ash, also known as Pash. They are telepathic, which means they can 'talk' to each other without anyone else hearing them. Now, in a mainstream crime series, this might sound a bit nuts and it is important that they are viewed as normal children throughout. They are not superheroes. However, their gift means that I could write some interesting situational ideas into the books but I have constantly tried to keep their ability within the bounds of normal life. Mike, their uncle, knows they can do this and can, if close by, know they are talking. No one else does. As the stories progress their skills develop, including being able to 'see' through each others eyes, again giving me the chance to write some interesting scenes in future books.
