It must be tough being a literary agent, a publisher or someone working on a newspaper's books section. Hundreds of writers, some awful, writing every day begging them to read, publish or promote their particular book. But, as far as I know, no one ever forced someone at gunpoint to work with books so do they have to be so brutal at times to struggling new writers? It's just a thought...
