Young people are always being told to
follow their hearts and do something they love as a career. To follow their
dreams. Older people are constantly being told to adapt and change, be flexible
and constantly update their knowledge to stay employable.
I have done my present job now for
twenty-five years. I enjoy it but needed a change. Hence the writing and the
two books in the Gemini and Flowers series. The third book will come out soon,
hopefully in September. I am passionate about writing and would love to be able
to make a living out of it even if it sometimes seems impossible.
Every media outlet says that hundreds of
books are published every week. Hundreds of thousands every year. No one even
notices most of them. Does that mean my dream is impossible or just very hard
to achieve?
Older people still have dreams. I do. So
how does my dream come true? Spelling would help….thank you to everyone who
pointed out Dore should have been Door below!
