Lucy Barton

Lucy, recently divorced, moved to Rilton Castle to set up her own pottery in one of the cottages owned by the Ash estate. She found Mike very attractive when she first moved down and became a figure of much interest to the single men in the village. By inviting her brother, Tom Flowers, to come and stay after he lost his job, she inadvertently set the ball rolling when it came to him facing up to his sexuality.
