Ginny Smee

Aah, poor Ginny. The social climber who no-one notices. Married to an auctioneer, she has worked her way up the social scale to life in the Old Vicarage where she thought she would become the star of Rilton Castle village. Instead she has become a figure of ridicule. Only through being attacked does she gain some sympathy and finally, due to Dax, she becomes someone the villagers enjoy being with.
